UMi took part in an important panel discussion hosted by Neighborhood North children’s museum in the Greater Pittsburgh Area to prepare younger generations for a rapidly evolving digital environment. As AI and data-driven technologies become more prevalent, children and parents must be equipped with IP literacy, digital rights education, and protections against exploitation. UMi’s session focused on AI ethics and the impact of AI on youth, highlighting the urgent need for multi-generational programming to support both parents and children. The discussion emphasized the long-term implications of data collection on children, ensuring that young digital citizens understand how their data is used and how they can protect themselves in a technology-saturated world. By fostering awareness, education, and strategic policies, UMi continues to advocate for youth-focused governance models in the digital age.
